RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating alleged theft of property and services and forgery in Manhattan.

Just before 10a.m. Tuesday, the Riley County Extension Office reported an unknown suspect forged a check and cashed it at a bank, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

The total estimated loss associated with this case is $14,875.50. 

Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

RCPD: Forged $14,000 check at the Riley County Extension office
