JUNCTION CITY, Kan. – Fort Riley Middle School eighth grader Rylen Bagby was recently named to the 2026-27 Kansas Olympic Development Program (ODP) Soccer Team. By being chosen, Bagby, who is a multi-sport student-athlete for the Troopers as he has competed in football, basketball and track and field while at FRMS, is one of only 22 players from across the state of Kansas to be selected by the Kansas ODP, meaning he is one of the top soccer student-athletes in the entire state for his age group.
Because of his play on the pitch, Bagby, who will begin training throughout the school year, will now have opportunities to advance to Midwest Regional identification events. He will also have access to national-level ODP opportunities, providing exposure to high-level coaches and U.S. Youth National Team staff.
The Kansas Olympic Development Program (ODP) is a highly competitive statewide soccer identification program operated through Kansas Youth Soccer and US Youth Soccer.
