Blue Jay swimmers capture first in Hays High Invitational

Junction City Blue Jay boys swimmers scored 495 team points to win the Hays High Invitational on Tuesday. 

According to Assistant Coach Aaron Craig, in the 200 yard freestyle Adrian Duarte took first place while Javohn Jackson placed second. Gabriel Lamb won the 100 yard freestyle and Adrian Duarte won the 500 yard freestyle.

Gabriel Lamb finished first in the 50 yard freestyle and Creytin Sanner placed second. The 200 yard freestyle "A" relay placed second with that group consisting of Abner Gonzalez, Adrian Duarte, Creytin Sanner and Gabriel Lamb.

Grant Shrader finished second and Renzo Canzano third in the 100 yard breaststroke. Xavier Robles finished third in the 100 yard backstroke and Jeff Murray placed third in the 200 yard IM.

The 200 yard medley "A" relay finished second. They included Xavier Robles, Grant Shrader, Creytin Sanner and Gabriel Lamb. The 400 yard freestyle "A" team relay placed third with that group including Javohn Jackson, Noah Lamb, Xavier Robles and Adrian Duarte.
