This past week the Junction City Commission approved the acquisition of ptoperty on South Washington as a location for some JCPD investigative personnel. Some renovation work will be needed as well. City staff will return to the commission on that subject later. The facility can also house rescue and SWAT vehicles.
The cost of the property totaled $390,000. There is some outdoor space as well at the site.
--There are two upcoming forums for city commission primary election candidates. One will be July 12 at Blu Restaurant and July 19th at the Harmony Center.
--This past week was a busy week at the animal shelter. The dog run also had to be closed temporarily because some strays came in with kennel cough.
