RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating an alleged violent crime in Manhattan. Just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police filed a report of aggravated battery near intersection of Manhattan Avenue and Freemont Street, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
An 18-year-old man reported an unknown suspect battered him and fled.
