POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1:30p.m. Friday in Pottawatomie County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2010 Ford Edge driven by Briana R. Fisher, 23, Paxico, was southbound on Lake Elbo Road waiting to turn right onto U.S. 24.
The driver failed to yield to westbound traffic and struck a 2012 Toyota Prius driven by Kennetta Nold, 52, Saint George.
After impact both vehicle struck a northbound 2018 Buick Enclave driven by Kera Friesen, 37, Overland Park, who was turning left onto U.S. 24.
EMS transported Fisher to the hospital in Manhattan. Nold and Friesen were not injured. Juveniles were present in the Buick and Toyota; juvenile record protected data, according to the KHP. The drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
