Geary County Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent Deb Andres has announced that she has accepted an Extension position in the Flint Hills District and will begin there on July 8. That District serves the residents of both Morris and Chase counties.
Andres stated, " I can’t express what an amazing experience it has been to work with the residents of Geary county and the surrounding areas. Truly it has been the highlight of my 35 years in Family and Consumer Sciences. While I have a couple months before I transition, I have many responsibilities and commitments to fulfill for Geary Country before I leave. The process will be bittersweet, to say the least. Thank you, Geary County - you have been the best team to be on and I wish you all…. The best life has to offer."
During her time in Geary County Andres has served a term as President of the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences.
