Geary County Public Works would like to share two new maps now found on the Geary County website. Navigate to the Public Works page, click on the Snow & Ice Tab, and from here, you will find the following maps:
The first map, Snow Removal Map, indicates which entities within Geary County are responsible for snow removal services. The map is searchable, so residents can search for a property, click on the highlighted road, and learn who is accountable. Associated phone numbers for each entity are included in the legend.
The second map, Geary County Snow Plow Activity, provides a general representation of where the plow trucks are located. The intent for this map is for residents to see the areas in which the snow plow trucks are operating to inform the public of the areas traveled.
