There will be a series of fundraising events for the project to build a new public library in Junction City.
Up first on July 14 will be Triple Trivia Night led by Dave Lewis and his Game Show Road Show. It will feature multiple three-person teams competing in a three-round contest, all vying to be the last team standing at the end. The time and location will be announced in the near future.
There will be a return of Whiskey, Wine and Library Time on Thursday, Nov. 10. It will feature tastings of several varieties of whiskey and wine and information about each one. This event will also introduce the return of the Friends of the Library's annual fall book sale the following day.
Plans also include a tailgate party for a Chiefs away game. The date will be announced when the 2022 schedule is released.
