Twenty-six Junction City High School students submitted 70 pieces of artwork for the 46th annual High School Art Exhibition hosted by Fort Hays State University. The event was virtual and all the artwork was submitted digitally. Judging was done by a panel of FHSU faculty and Hays area artists. A total of 37 pieces from 17 different JCHS students received a Certificate of Merit from the jurors.
From JCHS, Kate Woods received eight awards, Abigail McCarther, Emme Watkins and Maria Stanislow four awards, Avery Jacobsen, Maribel Lazano, Olivia White, Sophia Behm two awards, and Abigail Poytress, Darian Bratton, Grace Popovich, Javier Gomez, John Quintal, Lana Eddings, Neveah Flores, Raven McKinney and Ryan Delacruz one award apiece.
