USD 383 Manhattan / Ogden officials have announced that Susan B. Anthony Middle School Principal, Vickie Kline, was named the 2021-2022 Administrator of the Year by the North Central Kansas Music Educators Association (NCKMEA). Kline was recognized at the NCKMEA Middle Level Honor Band Concert on November 6.
This annual award recognizes those administrators who have demonstrated continuing leadership in developing, improving, and supporting music education within a wider commitment to arts education, music, theater, visual arts, and dance. Nominees should be exceptionally skillful within their administrative unit, showing special support for the arts as an indispensable part of the school curriculum.
The mission of the Kansas Music Educators Association is to support music educators by fostering leadership, providing professional development, and promoting the advocacy of music learning in schools and communities.
Kline is also a former teacher in Geary USD 475.
