USD 475 announced that JCMS organized a quick donation drive for the residents of the recent Geary Estates apartment fire. They provided 173 pounds of food to the Food Pantry of Junction City and several bags of clothing items to the United Way.
The food bank serves over 2,000 people per month. Needed items that are popular right now are pop tarts, granola bars, SpaghettiO's, hamburger helper mix, and pork and beans. Their hours are 10:30-12:00 on Monday & Thursday and 5:30-6:30 on Friday.
