Geary County Emergency Management Director

Geary County hosted Pottawatomie County Officials Wednesday to discuss the tornado and Pottawatomie County's response on Tuesday, April 30th. Representatives from Junction City, Geary County and Grandview Plaza were present.

The workshop dealt with the different agencies responses to the tornado scene, along with how they handled different parts of the response. Later this year, the Geary County Emergency Operations Plan is scheduled to be reviewed and updated.&nbsp; Lessons learned from the meeting will be in the update.
