K-State announces annual Catbacker Tour dates and stops

MANHATTAN — Excitement is at an all-time high following one of the most successful athletic seasons in recent memory, and Wildcat fans will soon get the opportunity to see their favorite student-athletes and coaches as the department has announced its 2023 Kansas Strong Catbacker Tour dates and stops.

The tour will kick off May 17 with stops in Salina, Great Bend and Scott City before moving to Liberal, Garden City and Dodge City on May 18 and then on to Colby and Hays on May 19. Head coach Jerome Tang and other coaches and student-athletes will be in attendance during the swing of Western Kansas.

Head coach Chris Klieman and other assistants and student-athletes will be a part of the second week of tours, beginning with Manhattan on May 22. Following stops in Hutchinson and Wichita on May 23, the tour will head to Emporia, Chanute and Kansas City May 24 and end in Seneca and Topeka on May 25.

The tour stops will have a fan friendly atmosphere and feature mini-pep rallies and photo opportunities and meet and greets with the guests. Willie Wildcat and members of the cheer team will also be in attendance. Make sure to follow K-State Athletics on social media platforms throughout the tour for more coverage.
