RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a violent altercation in Manhattan.
Just after 11a.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report for aggravated kidnapping, domestic battery, criminal deprivation of property, aggravated intimidation of a victim and criminal damage to property in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 35-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man known to each other were listed as both the victims and the suspects when it was reported the man wouldn't let the woman leave his home for approximately 8 to 9 hours.
During this time it was reported the man took her phone and hit her. It was also reported the woman threw a table at the man and hit him.
Police have not reported an arrest in the case and released no additional details early Wednesday.
