Cassandra Beattie, a graduate student completing her PHD in kinesiology at Kansas State University was honored by the Kansas House of Representatives recently. Cassie was recognized for her athletic achievements in powerlifting in both high school and at KSU and her national scholarship recognition as she completes her PHD dissertation in kinesiology at Kansas State University.  The Kansas House resolution especially cited Beattie for her work with inclusivity in helping special needs and disabled veterans in rehabilitation.  Data from her research on inclusivity will be available in her dissertation.
