Richard L. Ball, 75, passed away on May 17, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas. He was born in Wichita, Kansas on December 23, 1949, to John Ball and Coralee Lewis.

Richard was raised in Chase, Kansas with six brothers and sisters. After Rick graduated from high school, he joined the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he met Patricia Mac Cready, while stationed at Great Lakes Naval Academy in Great Lakes, Illinois. He left the Navy, and they were married on October 28, 1972.

After marrying, Richard and Patricia settled in Kenosha, Wisconsin, where they had their only daughter, Bridget.

Richard enjoyed reading, watching true crimes and police dramas, maps, and bowling.

He is survived by his daughter, Bridget Oliver; son-in-law, Timothy Oliver; granddaughter, Olivia Oliver; sisters: Candace Cobb (John), Crystal Miller (Dave); brothers: Michael Ball (Coleen), David Ball; and numerous other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers.
