On Sunday at 10:28 a.m., Deputies from the Geary County Sheriff's Office responded to a hit-and-run accident at mile marker 298. A 2015 Nissan Sentra was located at 118 W. Flint Hills. Deputies made contact with the driver, Garry Gentz of Junction City, who was subsequently transported to Stormont Vail for a medical emergency. The vehicle was removed by Homestead Wrecker.
