Junction City Commissioners dealt with a number of topics during a Tuesday meeting.

--The fifth year of the Greater Geary Community Foundation Match Day generated $543,880 in public contributions for local organizations and agencies. That amount included collection of $369,363 and $154,516 in matching money.

--Awarded a bid of $7,400 for demolition of a structure at 218 West 11th Street.

--Set Feb. 20th public hearings on the proposed annexations of property at 224 North Spring Valley Rd., 604 North Spring  Valley Rd., 30 South Spring Valley Rd., 506 South Spring Valley Rd., 2508 Glenn Dean Rd., 2701 Liberty Hall Rd., 2623 Liberty Hall Rd. and 2707 Liberty Hall Rd.

--Outgoing Commissioners Bob Story and Matthew Bea were recognized for their service on the governing body. Their terms expire in the near future.

--Former Junction City Police Chief Tom Clark Jr. was remembered. He passed away on Dec. 17th.
