
JUNCTION CITY, Kan. — Geary County K-State Extension is inviting community members to participate in the Hypertension Awareness & Prevention Program (HAPp), a self-monitoring blood pressure program designed to help individuals better manage and lower their blood pressure.
The HAPp Kick-Off Session will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Geary County 4-H/Senior Center, located at 1025 S. Spring Valley Road in Junction City. During the session, participants will learn how self-monitoring blood pressure can support and improve blood pressure management.
In addition to the kick-off meeting, participants are encouraged to attend a series of Nutrition Education Workshops, which will also be held at the Geary County 4-H/Senior Center.
Workshop dates include:
- February 25, at 10:30 a.m.
- March 4, at 10:30 a.m.
- April 1, at 10:30 a.m.
- May 6, at 10:30 a.m.
