RILEY COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 9:30p.m. Tuesday in Manhattan.
A 2006 Nissan Sentra driven by Danyel Lane, 19, of Manhattan was westbound on Kimball Avenue at North Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
The car rear-ended a 2020 Nissan Sentra driven by William Modesitt, 34, of Manhattan at the intersection.
EMS transported Lane and a passenger in her car, Brooklynn Grogg, 20, of Manhattan to Via Christi for treatment of broken wrist and hand bones, according to the RCPD. Lane was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
