Geary County Commisioners have elected Kathy Tremont to serve as the Chair of the governing body for the coming year. Trish Giordano will be the Vice Chair.
For individual appointments to public boards:
--Keith Ascher will serve on the Public Building Commission, Solid Waste Management Planning Committee, Chamber of Commerce Board, MPO Board, Local Emergency Planning Committee and the County Risk Management Committee.
--Trish Giordano will be on the Militaryy Affairs Council, ATA Bus Board, Flint Hills Regional Council, the CVB Committee and the Community Corrections Committee. She will also serve as an alternate for the MPO Board.
--Kathy Tremont will serve on the EDC, the North Central Regional Juvenile Detention Center Board and the Pawnee Mental Health Board.
Commissioners reappointed John Moyer to a three year term on the County Public Building Commission.
