The Dorothy Bramlage Public Library is inviting the community to take part in a summer adventure celebrating libraries, local history, and the stories that connect our communities. As part of a region-wide Public Library Crawl across North Central Kansas, running June 1 through July 31 in celebration of America 250, participants will have the opportunity to explore libraries and discover the unique history that makes each community special.
The crawl highlights the important role libraries play as community hubs and places of discovery. Participants are encouraged to visit libraries on the official crawl list, including Dorothy Bramlage Public Library, where visitors can learn more about our library’s story and the impact libraries continue to have in shaping local communities.
Each library visit earns one entry into a regional prize drawing, and participants who complete the entire crawl will receive an additional ten bonus entries. At every stop, visitors can scan a QR code and answer a library-specific history question or identify a special password to qualify.
Winners will be selected on August 5, with multiple prizes awarded. Whether you visit one library or complete the full journey, the Public Library Crawl offers a chance to explore, learn, and celebrate the important stories that connect us all.
