Fishermen from eight states will compete in the Bass Nation Central Regional Tournament at Milford Lake, Wednesday through Friday.

Michelle Stimatze, Convention &amp; Visitor's Bureau Director, said the weigh-in's run 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. each day.&nbsp; Fishing begins about 6:30 a.m. and Acorn's Resort serves as headquarters for the tournament.

Stimatze said there is a substantial economic impact from the tournament with more than 500 overnight stays in lodging facilities. "A lot of them came in Sunday evening and they will not check out until Saturday morning." She estimated that there would be 84 boats in the tournament.&nbsp;

Anglers will be competing for cash prizes and a spot in the TNT Fireworks B.A.S.S. Nation Championship.
