Jeffrey Mason Osborne, 60, of Topeka, Kansas passed away August 5, 2020, at Rolling Hills Health Center in Topeka.
Jeff was born July 26, 1960 in Council Grove, Kansas, the son of William Mason III and Patricia (Hardiman) Osborne. He graduated from Topeka West High with the Class of 1978. Jeff was a member of Westside Christian Church.
Jeff was a savant and had an amazing ability to recall specific dates and facts about family and historical events. He was kind, caring and extremely intelligent. He was a dear friend and helper to many of his fellow residents at Rolling Hills. He enjoyed watching all sports, especially the Kansas City Royals, Chiefs and KU football and basketball. He loved playing pool. His passion was studying the weather and he always dreamt of being a meteorologist. Jeff’s family meant everything to him. He loved each of them dearly. Jeff will be greatly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: William and Mildred Osborne and Mark and Margaret Hardiman. Jeff is survived by his parents: Bill and Pat Osborne; sisters Jami Lynn Haines and husband Dennis Spradlin of Bentonville, AR and Julie Renae Pusloskie and husband Paul of Ashburn, VA; nephews: Michael Christopher Haines (Allison), Max Mason Pusloskie, Lex Paul Pusloskie; nieces: Candice Lynn Johnson (Taylor), Jade Ann Pusloskie, and Sasha Rose Pusloskie; and great nephew Curren Oliver Johnson.
Due to the coronavirus, a private family graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 12, 2020, at Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.sawyerchapel.com.
