Gary's life began on February 1, 1938 in Herington and was a lifelong resident. He was the son of Ruben A. and Doris G. (Rubin) Ludden. He was a graduate of Herington High School, Class of 1957 and served his country in the Kansas National Guard.
Gary is survived by his brother Howard Ludden of Surprise, AZ, sister-in-law Virginia Ludden of Tescott, AZ, nephew Gary Lynn Ludden of Tescott, AZ, nephew Bob Ludden of Herington, niece Vetta Alden of Salina and many great nieces and great nephews. Gary passed away on February 1, 2021 at Herington Municipal Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Donald, and Kenneth Ludden sister Dorothy "Eileen" Siek, niece Carla Jo Womochil and nephew Rueben "RJ" Alden.
Gary will be laid to rest in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington. Yazel-Megli Funeral Home, Herington is serving the family.
