Geary USD 475 has announced via social media that the first day of school for all new students in any grade and returning students in grades 1-5, 6 and nine will be a half-day on Aug. 16. Returning students in other grades including 7,8,10, 11 and 12 begin school with a full day on Aug. 17.
Early Childhood and Kindergarten students begin with a full day on Aug.19. Meals will not be served on Aug. 16.
