WABAUNSEE COUNTY —A Manhattan woman was injured in an accident just before 11a.m. Monday in Wabaunsee County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2009 Toyota Camry driven by Stephanie M. Stallings, 35, Manhattan, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of Snokomo Road. An unknown vehicle swerved into the Toyota's lane. The driver lost control of the Camry. The car traveled off the roadway to the left and came to rest against a tree line.
EMS transported Stallings to Stormont Vail. A passenger in the Toyota was not injured. Both were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
