Geary County Commission Chair Alex Tyson has urged the public to be careful around the County Office Building this week because there will be demolition of the former Wilhoite building next door on East 8th Street. "It's scheduled to be torn down. We've got a lot of construction equipment over here so access to parking and different things will be a little bit different."
The county will consider selling some of the old equipment and chairs on Purple Wave.
The Wilhoite building is located just west of the county's emergency management office.
