The Junction City High School fall marketing class has completed their annual trip to Eagle Media to record radio ads for JCHS, which will be played in the following months. According to marketing teacher Ms. Christina Amerin, the students have worked hard this semester, learning about basic marketing and target markets, wants/needs, and how marketers help a product develop.
The students have also done work with brand recognition and ethics in marketing. Now they are putting their knowledge to work in real life, in partnership with Eagle Media. The students will round out the semester by learning how to pitch ideas and close a sale.
Ads are airing on Eagle Media stations in both Junction City and Manhattan. Ads can be heard on 107.9 FM / 1420 AM KJCK, Power Hits 97.5. Q-Country 103.5, and 92.7 Country Rewind.
