Junction City police have announced that Franklin Street is scheduled to be sealed on Thursday, October 9th, and Friday, October 10th. The treated section will be from 6th Street to Grant Avenue.No parking will be allowed on Franklin Street during this time, and residents are reminded not to operate lawn sprinklers the night before or the day of treatment.
Traffic will be restricted for approximately 8–9 hours while crews apply the liquid asphalt rejuvenator. The street will reopen about 2 hours after the application is complete.
• Please move vehicles off the street before 7:50 a.m.• Keep children and pets away from the roadway until it’s fully dry.• If you must drive in the area, please do so slowly and watch for workers and signage.
