Hunter education instructor class is scheduled

Posted Jul 05, 2021 1:43 AM

There will be a Kansas Hunter Education Instructor Orientation Class at Sportsman's Acres at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 22nd.

Attendance at this class fulfills the continuing education requirements for existing instructors and would be very useful for potential new instructors as it will cover basic Hunter Ed info as well as new and upcoming Kansas legislation and hunting trends. If you are interested in becoming a Kansas Hunter Education Instructor, plan on attending this meeting.

Geary County Fish & Game Association hosts 4 HE Field Days each year with the next two being scheduled for 21 August and 16 October. These full days require a lot of effort and certified instructors to make them happen and more help is needed. KDWPT welcomes volunteers who are at least 18 years of age.  For more information about Hunter Education, contact Chris Blodgett at 785.375.2714 or email at [email protected]
