The Junction City Brigade have earned the number one seed in the postseason Cowdin Cup playoffs for the Mid Plains League. Because of a first round bye the Brigade do not compete in the playoffs until July 22nd.
To avoid a long layoff until the 22nd the Brigade have scheduled two games at Rathert Field this week. They will host the Kansas City Monarchs Monday ( this ) evening July 17th at 7:30 p.m. and the Kansas City Knights Wednesday July 19th at 7 p.m.
The first playoff game for Junction City on the 22nd will begin at 7 p.m. Game two will be played Monday July 24th. If the Brigade win that series they would play for the Cowdin Cup.
