Abilene CVB Director Julie Roller announced that Abilene's new Holiday Inn Express & Suites opened its doors Thursday evening, offering travelers a modern place to stay along Kansas I-70. The four-story, 65-room property features a 400-square-foot meeting space ideal for small to medium-sized groups, along with amenities like an indoor pool and fitness center.
“We are thrilled to bring this property to Abilene and its visitors,” said Anjan Ghosh Hajra, property owner. “We appreciate everyone’s patience during the construction delays and are confident travelers will love the finished hotel.”This marks the Ghosh Hajra family’s second investment in Abilene. Their original Holiday Inn Express, built in 2000, is being rebranded as Abilene Inn & Suites, a Choice Hotels property.
“Abilene’s businesses, attractions, and visitors are grateful for the continued investment the Ghosh Hajra family has made in our community,” said Julie Roller Weeks, Director of the Abilene Convention & Visitors Bureau. ”Travelers can book accommodations at both properties online.
