RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating an alleged motorcycle theft in Manhattan have recovered the stolen vehicle.
Just after 3:30p.m. Sunday, officers filed a report for theft and criminal damage to property in the 900 block of Laramie Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.
A 32-year-old man reported an unknown suspect damaged then took his 2009 Kawasaki Motorcycle.
The motorcycle was recovered later in the day, according to the RCPD. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $6,000.
