Geary County Public Works would like to announce that the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), the Recycling Center, and the Landfill will now be open one Saturday each month, starting in 2024!
These areas will open the 2nd Saturday of each month from 8AM to 2PM.
As a friendly reminder, HHW will take items such as paint, household cleaners, batteries & small appliances to safely dispose of. This program is free of charge to Geary County residents and Geary County Property Owners.
The Landfill accepts brush & tree limbs only. No other items are accepted.
