Junction City High School seniors Jayda Harris and David Rowell were honored with top athletic awards during the Senior Night Awards ceremony at the high school.
Harris was a recipient of the Kim Kilpatrick and Mike Champ Awards while Rowell won the Bert McKinsey Award. The Bert McKinsey and Kim Kilpatrick Awards honor recognized the senior athletic letter winner who contributed the most to the overall athletic program during their high school career.
In addition to Harris, Tyler Atkins also received the Mike Champ Award. That honor goes to the male and female athletic letter winner with an outstanding grade point average making a significant contribution to the athletic program during their high school career.
Also, Rob Smith Loyal Blue Jay Awards winners were named. They included on the girls side, Karen Exantus, Jayda Harris, Jordyn Hunt, Abby Ratts and Hannah Ratts. For the boys they were Tyler Atkins, Hayden Diestelkamp, Ismael Fadiga, Jordan Kell, Keghan McConnell, Jurdah Peterson, David Rowell, Grant Shrader and Kyrell Taylor.
