Fort Riley will host a hiring and education fair at Riley’s Community Center, 446 Seitz Ave., on Nov. 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to attend and open to all DoD cardholders, including active duty Soldiers, family members, veterans, retirees and DoD civilians, as well as the general public.
The event will feature schools from around the United States, regional and local employers, KANSASWORKS, education counselors, financial aid advisors, Transition Assistance Program counselors and many other organizations. In total, more than 100 exhibitors will be on-site.
Organizers recommend that attendees dress for success and bring copies of their resumes, as employers may interview or hire on the spot.
