MANHATTAN —One person was injured in an accident just before 7p.m. Wednesday in Manhattan.
According to the Riley County Police Department activity report, a 2002 Dodge Dakota driven by Michael James, 35, Manhattan, struck a 2014 Dodge Charger driven by Therriana Pittman, 22, of Manhattan, at the intersection of Kimball Avenue and Wreath Avenue in Manhattan.
Pittman was turning westbound on to Kimball from Wreath and failed to yield at the turn, according to the RCPD.
EMS transported 20-year-old Yurah Jackson of Manhattan, a passenger of the Dodge Charger to Via Christi for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The RCPD reported no other injuries.
Pittman was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way on a left turn.
