Junction City scored 70 points on day one of the Class 6A Regional Wrestling Tournament at Wichita Southeast High School. Washburn Rural was in first place with 148 points and Manhattan second with 139 points.
In the individual weight class competition for Junction City, Zeke Witt advanced to Saturday's championship final against Easton Broxterman of Washburn Rural.
Patrick Foxworth is guaranteed at least 6th place at 138 pounds, Logan Nabus at least sixth at 170 and Cooper Bogenhagen at least sixth at 182.
