Heather Dawn Bloom

Heather Dawn Bloom, 51, of Mesa, Arizona passed away on June 23, 2021.

Heather was born on November 28, 1969 in Norton, Kansas, the daughter of Larry and Dana Bloom, previously of Clay Center, Kansas until they moved the family to Mesa, Arizona in 1977.

Heather had a degree in history and she loved to travel. She visited many countries to visit historical sites over the years. She settled in Portland, Oregon and was there for many years. While in Portland she owned and operated Plan B one of the most successful music venues in Portland. Bands from across the U.S. as well as other Countries would book to play at her venue. Heather also had a soft spot in her heart for helping other people. She worked for non-profits and volunteered her time in places such as Ronald McDonald house and the Child Crisis Center in Mesa, AZ. She loved her nieces, nephews and cousins as if they were her own children and always planned special themed birthday parties for them. Everyone was always amazed at the detail and special work she put into planning and making everything from scratch.

Heather loved a multitude of people and a multitude of people loved her.

She is preceded in death by her dad Larry Bloom and niece, Saige Bloom.

She is survived by her mom Dana Bloom, Mesa, AZ, brothers Gregory Bloom, Boonville, MO, Ryan Bloom, Mesa, AZ, sister Alisha Bloom of Milwaukee, OR, nieces Jamaica Bloom, Gilbert, AZ, Sicily Bloom, Mesa, AZ, Seven Bloom, Lockhart, TX and India Bloom, Baltimore, MD, Nephews Evan Bloom, Kaden Bloom and Nathan Bloom all of Mesa, AZ.  She is also survived by aunts, uncles and many cousins throughout Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Florida and Arizona.
