--Junction City Commissioners have approved a letter of support for the Friends of the Dorothy Bramlage Public Building project. The letter is for tax credit and grant funding.
The Friends are working to raise funds for a new public library.
--City commissioners have approved the reappointment of Ricardo Vieyra and Stuart Wells to the Dorothy Bramlage Public Library Board of Trustees for a four year term.
--The 65-acre tract targeted for the Aging Well senior living center project will be rezoned multifamily residential district instead of planned development district. Commissioners gave approval to the necessary ordinance.
--April 29th has been declared as the 150th anniversary celebration of Arbor Day.
