Wild West Day at the Farmers Market!
Saddle up for a rootin’-tootin’ good time at the Farmers Market! We're turning back the clock and heading straight into the Old West with a day full of fun for the whole family!
Old Abilene Town Gunfighter Shows – Watch outlaws and lawmen face off in thrilling reenactments!
● Dancers – High kicks and high energy!
● Cowboy Poet – Tales of the trail, humor, and heart from the Old West.
● JC Saddle Club – Meet the riders and learn about life in the saddle! Plus all your favorite local vendors, fresh produce, handmade goods, and Wild West-themed treats! Plus, from 9 AM-11AM, the Boy Scouts will be hosting a Build Your Own Flag Day as part of Flags of Geary County!

Celestial Sweets is opening in Downtown Junction City on Wednesday, July 9.
Visit their location at 725 N Washington St as they open their doors for the first time from 11 AM to 8 PM. Celestial Sweets will be open weekly Wednesday through Saturday, serving up their signature baked goods and sweets. Stop by and welcome them to the heart of downtown!
Fort Riley Spouses Welcome: Junction City will be hosting a Spouses Welcome for our military families on Saturday, July 19th from 10AM-1PM at the Victory Chapel on Fort Riley. This will allow our military families to learn about all that Geary County has to offer.
Need Saturday night plans? Come out to D’z Lounge and partake in “Emo Night” from 8PM-12AM on Saturday July 12th. Trivia, drinks, karaoke and lots of fun!
Flags of Geary County: “Proudly United, Community Ignited” Junction City Main Street invites you to take part in the Flag Project supporting multiple local organizations. For a small donation, Main Street will place and remove a leased 3x5 ft U.S. flag on a 10 ft pole in front of your home or business on six major holidays throughout the year. Flags will not be displayed in the event of rain.
Kids Day at the Geary Community Farmers Market
Every Thursday, June-July | 4–7 PM
Make Thursday evenings a family tradition.

● Weekly activities: seed planting, games, cooking demos, and scavenger hunts
● No sign-up needed—stop by the info booth to join in

● GEM Studios Summer Art Camp launched June 9 with themed weekly sessions like All About Me, Bugs & Animals, and Ocean Week. Sign-up now!

The Junction City Arts Council is hosting two Mini Summer Camps:
● July 16–17 for 3rd–5th grade Spots are limited, so sign your kids up now and get those creative juices flowing!

● Movies in the Park – hosted by the Junction City Police Department, will feature Sonic 3 on Friday, July 18th at 8:45 PM at Heritage Park. Free popcorn and water will be provided.
