Area residents could view Longhorn cattle in downtown Junction City. Saturday morning. They were on display as they were moved from JC Livestock Sales up across the East 6th Street bridge toward downtown to 6th and Washington. From there they went north to 10th Street before returning back to the sale barn. The Junction City cattle drive was connected with the unveiling of the tenth and final JC Statue.

The theme for the statue is Railroads and Cattle Drives.

Twenty-one head of Longhorn cattle were brought in from Oklahoma for the event, which was hosted by Junction City Main Street.

The Fort Riley Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard and the Central Plains Rodeo Association rodeo queen also participated in the event.
