Minor injuries were reported by the Geary County Sheriff's Department in an accident late Tuesday night on I-70 four miles east of Junction City. Erick Holzhausen, Oklahoma City, OK, was traveling westbound in a Hyundai Elantra when he swerved to miss a deer, the vehicle left the roadway and struck an embankment.
Holzhausen was transported to Geary Community Hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle sustained disabling damage.
