Ivan L Smith, 67, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Dirk Weiss officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with military honors. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the First United Methodist Church.
Ivan was born December 18, 1951, in Kansas City, KS, the son of Alexander J. and Mildred A. (Johnston) Smith.
Ivan served in the United States Army. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he drove the church bus. Ivan worked for Eldorado Bus Company in Salina, KS for many years. He later drove a school bus in Junction City.
He married Kyong Cha Yi February 29, 1982 in Korea.
Survivors include his wife Kyong of the home. Other survivors include one son Henry Smith of Laramie WY; one daughter Esther Perez of Sebring, FL
