On April 3rd the Corps of Engineers at Milford Lake began increased surveillance of the reservoir. The Corps said after 229 days of increased and critical surveillance that on Nov. 17th the lake was below 1153.00 elevation and out of increased surveillance.

The high pool elevation for the flood event occurred on June 26th, which was 30.36 feet high, the second highest pool elevation level on record for the reservoir.

The current lake elevation is 1152.27, which is 7.87 feet above normal.

Releases were decreased on Tuesday to 6,000 cubic feet per second, but the Corps plans to increase them back to 8,000 cfs next Monday. They plan to bring the lake down to the conservation pool elevation of 1144.40 and then keep releasing to the winter draw down elevation of 1141.40.
