Tony’s life began on September 23, 1970, the son of Albert Lee and Virginia Kay (Amick) Steele in Junction City, Kansas. He graduated from Thayer High Class of 1989, where he was a running back, a quarterback in football and also played soccer. He was a construction carpenter, handyman, an avid fisherman, hunter and had a gardener’s green thumb.
His loving family includes his children, Kory Steele of Orlando, Florida, Tray Steele, Trevin (Alexandria) Steele all of Chanute, Kansas; parents, Albert and Kay Steele of Marion; siblings, Alan Steele, Kevin (Tina) Steele all of Marion, Rod Steele of Willard, Missouri; one granddaughter, Everleigh Ella Rae Steele and several nieces and nephews.
The family has requested a private family service. Tony passed away, Wednesday, December 25, 2019, having reached the age of 49 years old.
A memorial has been established with Marion County Food Bank in care of Yazel-Megli-Zeiner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 96, Marion, Kansas 66861.
