Karen M. Anderson, age 75, of Manhattan, died December 30, 2019 at the Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan.

Karen was born on Nov 4, 1944 in Manhattan, the daughter of Wilbur and Martha (Davies) Loberg. Karen grew up in Manhattan and attended local schools.

On July 12, 1960 in Manhattan, she was united in marriage to Roy Anderson. He preceded her in death on November 7, 2005.

Karen worked different jobs throughout the years. She worked at the Kreem Kup, at Dillions and also cleaning house for many people. She loved to go bowling, and to read and also collect unicorns. Karen and Roy loved to go dancing and she loved to go riding with Roy on his motorcycle.

She enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Visiting and being with her family was so important to her. She was always there for them and took care of them as much as she could.

In addition to Roy, Karen was also preceded in death by her son, Robert in 2010.

She is survived by her son Clifford Anderson and his wife Julia; and her sister, Shirley Wilson, all of Manhattan; and also, her 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends during a visitation from 5:00 until 6:30 Sunday January 5, 2020 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel.  Interment will follow the service in the Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery in Manhattan.
