Harlan Forslund

Harlan Forslund, age 87 of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Ignite Medical Resort.

He was born on March 22, 1932 in Winkler, the son of Eddie W. and Elva Viola (Lindstrom) Forslund.

Harlan graduated with honors from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture and was a Landscape Architect for KDOT. He loved the outdoors, hiking, mountain climbing, fishing, canoeing and working in his rose garden.

He is survived by one brother, Mervin Forslund and wife Faye of Gladstone, Missouri; one sister, Marilyn Heath & husband Jim of Riverside, Missouri and four nieces and nephews, Kim Rogowski, Kelly Dudeck, Kirk Forslund and Marlene Walker.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Larson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Monday until service time. Burial will be in the Swedish Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
